Our location is perfect for those who love to explore on foot or prefer a quick Uber/Lyft ride to nearby attractions. For guests arriving by car:

PASSENGER ZONE A passenger zone is located in front of the lobby entrance for guests to unload/load their cars. Parking is limited to a maximum of 10 minutes. Luggage carts are available in the lobby for your convenience.

PARKING GARAGE There are three parking garages within one block of The Mayfair. The nearest is McCrory's Garage, located directly behind our property at 129 Burgundy Street. We also highly recommend Unipark Garage at 145 Roosevelt Way, which offers 24/7 security. For rates and additional information, please contact them directly.

Do you offer a shuttle service?

While we do not offer an on-site shuttle service, we're happy to assist with transportation arrangements for larger groups. We work closely with trusted private drivers who can accommodate group transfers, airport pickups, and custom itineraries. Please contact us for availability and details.

There are a number of convenience stores along Canal Street, including Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy within short walking distance. For a broader selection of groceries, Rouses Market is just a short drive or Uber ride away located at 701 Baronne St.

How does the stocked fridge service work?

Simply place your order through Instacart or a similar service and have it delivered to 1011 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70112. Deliveries can be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, or 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM if you are confirmed for an early check-in. Please include instructions for the driver to call (504) 910-6099 upon arrival, and our team will take care of the rest. Kindly let us know if you plan to use this service so we may apply the associated fee to your reservation.

Can I deliver packages to the property?

Guests are welcome to bring outside food or have food delivered. If you plan to have packages or other items delivered during your stay, please notify us in advance with the expected delivery date and time. As The Mayfair is an access code-only property, please include instructions for the driver to call (504) 910-6099 in case of any access issues. **The Mayfair is not liable for any missing or damaged packages**

We have a strict no-pets policy. The Mayfair welcomes service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please let us know in advance if you'll be traveling with a service animal. The Mayfair does not recognize emotional support dogs as service animals.

The Mayfair rentals are professionally cleaned before and after every stay. Mid-stay cleaning services can be arranged for an additional fee once the reservation is confirmed.

While The Mayfair does not have an on-site gym, discounted passes to Downtown Fitness Center are available for $10 each. Passes may be picked up at the front desk.

The Mayfair does not have a pool on-site. However many nearby properties offer daily pool access. We recommend checking the ResortPass app for locations and pricing.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times? Is it possible to arrange for an early check-in and/or a late check-out?

Standard check-in is after 4:00 PM, and standard check-out is by 11:00 AM. Should you wish for an early check-in or late check-out, you may request this service for an additional fee once your reservation is confirmed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Bookings canceled at least 30 days prior to the arrival date will receive 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days prior to the arrival date will receive 50% refund. Cancellations less than 14 days prior to the arrival date are NOT eligible for a refund.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover cards, as well as debit cards. All credit card payments will be subject to a 4.5% processing fee. In some cases, such as long-term or multiple-unit bookings, arrangements can be made for EFT, wire transfer or payment by check.

Is it possible to hold units without a deposit?

We have a strict no-hold policy. Your rental is only confirmed once you make your deposit.

What is required for the booking deposit?

At the time of making a reservation with The Mayfair, a 50% deposit shall be due; the remaining balance, due 60 days prior to arrival, will be charged to the card on file. Reservations made within 60 days of arrival shall be paid in full.
